“It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart, and head.”

About me

Welcome to Gemsinlens! I’m Yasmeen, the heart and soul behind the lens. Gemsinlens was founded in 2020, born out of a deep love for photography and a passion for capturing life’s most precious moments.

My photography journey began with landscapes, where I spent countless hours framing the beauty of nature. However, everything changed when I started a family of my own. I quickly realized that while landscapes are timeless, nothing compares to the fleeting moments we share with our loved ones. That’s when I transitioned to family photography, and I’ve never looked back.

At Gemsinlens, I specialize in family photography because I understand the importance of preserving those little moments that make life truly special. Whether it’s the laughter of a child, the bond between siblings, or the warmth of a loving embrace, I’m here to capture it all. My goal is to create images that will not only last a lifetime but will also bring joy every time you look back on them.

I am dedicated to ensuring that your experience with Gemsinlens is as wonderful as the photos we create together. From our first conversation to the final delivery of your images, I’m here for you every step of the way. Your memories are priceless, and I’m honored to help you treasure them forever.

Your Photographer,

Yasmeen!

Capture Every Moment…

At Gemsinlens, “Capture Every Moment” isn’t just a phrase—it’s the essence of what I do. Life moves fast, and the moments that matter most can pass by in the blink of an eye. Whether it’s a quiet moment of tenderness, a joyful burst of laughter, or the simple beauty of everyday life, these are the memories that define us. Every moment, big or small, deserves to be captured and cherished. My mission is to freeze time through my lens, turning these fleeting moments into lasting memories you and your family can hold onto forever.

“I seek the place where grandmothers hold babies on their laps under the stars and whisper in their ears that the lights in the sky are holes in the floor of heaven.”
